Leyia

Leyia is a self-taught singer-songwriter from Helsinki's Punavuori district. Since childhood, creating melodies has been a natural way for Leyia to channel her emotions. Especially after a transformative experience in 2023, Leyia has written more songs than ever, adding to her growing collection of work.

Travel back to Leyia's early years spent in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia. Picture her sitting in the back seat of her mother's car, immersed in soul-stirring tunes performed by American legends such as Shania Twain and Bonnie Raitt. This setting planted the seed of inspiration that has shaped Leyia's distinctive style.

In 2024, Leyia released her debut single, "Wanderer." Written as a gift for her husband, the song offers a glimpse into Leyia's world, blending warmth, authenticity, catchy melodies, and a touch of country flair.
